“MEDIATION IN ENGLISH” “Implementation of “English Assistance for Filing Petitions” - Please take advantage of the consultation on how to write petitions, etc. (12/5/7/8) *Pre-application required

In commemoration of "ADR Day" on December 1 and "ADR Week" from December 1 to December 7, the Center will offer free consultation on how to write a petition, etc. (petition assistance system). During the period, we would like to let people know that ADR is one of the familiar dispute resolution options. The consultation will also be available in English during this period, so please take advantage of this opportunity.

Date and Time
December 5(Tue), December 7(Thu), and December 8(Fri),
1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. 
(However, if the dates cannot be arranged, it is possible to make separate arrangements with the lawyer in charge of the consultation between December 1 and 8, depending on the lawyer's availability.)

Place
9th floor of Osaka Bar Association Hall (1-12-5 Nishitenma, Kita-ku, Osaka City)
Consultation: For those who are considering or wish to file a petition with the Center, an overview of the procedures, advice on filing a petition, and guidance on how to prepare a petition will be provided in English (* Legal consultation is not available.)
Consultation: One attorney will be available for consultation.

How to make an appointment
Please send an e-mail to info@minkanchotei.or.jp with the required information*.
*1) Name, 2) Telephone number, 3) Desired consultation date (either December 5, 7, or 8), 4) Desired consultation time (1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.) 
(If you have a preference for a different date between the 1st and 8th, please let us know. And also let us know if you would prefer a web conference instead of an in-person visit.)


The Center will contact you within 3 days of your request for an appointment to discuss the date and time of your consultation. (The appointment is considered complete when the contact is made.)
If you wish to change or cancel the consultation date, please contact the above e-mail address by 4:00 p.m. on the business day prior to the consultation date.
On the day of consultation, please come to the 9th floor of Osaka Bar Association Hall (1-12-5 Nishitenma, Kita-ku, Osaka City) 10 minutes before your appointment time.
